  • 400 grams of peeled prawns.

  • 350 grams of pasta (for example spaghetti).
  • 4 tablespoons of butter.
  • The juice of 2 lemons.
  • The zest of 1 lemon.

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the previously seasoned prawns, until they are pink and reserve on a plate.
  • In a large saucepan with water and a little salt, cook the pasta until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and reserve some of the cooking water.
  • In the previous pan, melt the butter and heat the lemon zest, the lemon juice and a few tablespoons of the pasta water. Salt and pepper.
  • Cook until it thickens and add the pasta first and then the prawns.
  • Serve hot. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Now we are going to add the mascarpone cheese to the previous recipe. It is still very easy and above all, very rich.

Ingredients needed

  • 400 grams of fresh or dry pasta (your choice).
  • 500 grams of prawns.
  • 300 grams of mascarpone cheese.
  • The zest of 1 lemon.
  • Extra virgin olive oil.
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste.

The elaboration is as follows

  • Cook the pasta with water and a little salt in a saucepan, until it is al dente.
  • Peel the prawns.
  • In a frying pan, add a drizzle of olive oil and fry the prawns until they are slightly crisp.
  • Grate the lemon peel on top.
  • Add the mascarpone cheese and season.
  • Mix everything well and let the cheese melt well.
  • By that time the pasta should already be ready.
  • Drain and pour over the previous cream.
  • Mix well and serve on each plate or on a tray.

  • 400 grams of pasta (approximately 100 grams per person).
  • 400 grams of raw prawns (100 grams per person are also counted).
  • 3 garlic cloves.
  • 50 grams of butter.
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
  • The peel of a lemon.
  • The juice of a lemon.
  • A bunch of parsley.
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste.

Steps to follow:

If you are using frozen prawns, leave them overnight in the fridge in a colander and wrapped in plastic wrap. Otherwise, you just have to take them out of their packaging or bag and peel them (if you have not bought them directly peeled).

  • Cook the pasta in a large saucepan with water and a little salt, as usual.
  • Wash and dry the lemon. Peel it avoiding the white part of the inside of the shell.
  • Cut the lemon peel into thin strips and squeeze the juice.
  • Thinly slice the garlic.
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Stir in the garlic until golden brown, then add the chilli, lemon peels and raw prawns. Season and stir well.
  • Drain the pasta and put in the mixture (when the prawns have changed color).
  • Pour in the lemon juice and heat for a few minutes.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and season.
  • You can finish the dish with grated Parmesan cheese.
