Ingredients

  • A natural yogurt (125 g).
  • 3 eggs.
  • Flour (3 measures of yogurt).
  • Sugar (2 measures of yogurt).
  • 1 large orange
  • Olive oil (1 measure of yogurt).
  • 1 sachet of baking powder.
  • Butter to spread the mold, or greaseproof paper.

Depending on the strength of flavor that you want, we will use a softer or stronger oil. That depends on taste.

  • First, empty the yogurt container. We will need this dairy, so you must pour it into another container. The yogurt container will serve as a universal measure for the ingredients of the orange sponge cake.
  • Also, go preheating the oven for 10 minutes at 180 ºC.
  • Next,  grate the orange peel until the white part is left.
  • On the other hand, peel the orange completely and crush the segments in a separate bowl.
  • In this bowl, add the sugar, eggs, yogurt, orange zest and oil. Blend these ingredients with a mixer until smooth.
  • It is time to add the flour and yeast. Of course, you have to sift these ingredients before adding them.
